I am currently a host/ presenter for a show called Relax & Bake FM. Airing on Platform B 105.5 FM in Brighton and Reform Radio in Manchester. I create tracklists. Reach out to new and upcoming artists for guest interviews, plan, produce and record all of my own interviews using clean feed online (Due to Covid). I am growing as a confident presenter and host and hope to continue this journey with the team.

I have previously volunteered at a community radio station in Brixton - London called Reprezent. Reprezent is a youth/community ran and focused station and I assisted with the Saturday morning breakfast show; Breakfast With Munya. My role as a broadcast assistant was to research playlists and guests, suggest new game/ segment ideas and also clean tracks and load them into the system, as well as capturing pre-recorded segments for the show.

BBC RADIO NORFOLK
BBC Radio Norfolk. | BROADCAST ASSISTANT

I currently freelance for my local radio station, BBC Radio Norfolk. I am the broadcast assistant on a show called The Social. The Social is a radio show on every Wednesday evening 7-10PM. The show is aimed at young people and discusses live on air issues that young people face in society, with music and various different games and segments each week as well as highlighting local talent. I am responsible scheduling to upload music for the show as well as input segments, sound effects and beds. I have experience with broadcast software and I also take on a journalistic role with this position. I take part in collecting the content and finding the stories in my local area and taking them from paper to air.
